How payment release process changes things when booking event suppliers

10 May 20262 min readDadsOrder editorial

Before booking an event supplier, customers should understand who provides the service, how payment is processed and what happens if plans change.

How payment release process works on DadsOrder

  1. Stripe processes the payment when you book.
  2. The order, agreed scope and supplier updates remain recorded in DadsOrder.
  3. You can confirm completion, or report an issue during the stated review window.
  4. If there is a problem, use the in-app support process so the available evidence can be reviewed.

Why suppliers like it too

Suppliers receive a confirmed order and a clear record of the agreed price, while Stripe handles payment processing. Payout timing, refunds and disputes remain subject to the platform terms, Stripe processes and applicable law.

If a supplier goes quiet

Contact DadsOrder through the order support flow. Where possible, the platform can help seek replacement offers, but replacement availability and pricing cannot be guaranteed.

Plan it on DadsOrder

Post one brief, compare real offers from verified Sydney suppliers, and pay through secure payment — released only when it's delivered.
